Inspiration
I’ve been watching the new ‘Beware The Batman’ animated TV series and I really like it. They’ve been bringing back lesser-known villains from the Batman universe and redesigning their looks and stories. The second I saw the new design for Magpie, I was in love! She’s all acrobatic, insane, and obsessed with stealing shiny objects. I lovingly refer to her as the Dominatrix Bird…and, truthfully, I’m a bit surprised that they gave her the outfit they did considering it’s a show for KIDS.
Construction
4-way stretch black PVC – the corset has full steel boning. The neck piece has high-quality synthetic feathers hand-stitched along the bottom and snaps closed at the back. Wig was cut and styled by me.
