Inspiration
I love all of the psychotic villains in the Batman series. While I’d say Catwoman is probably my favorite, I love the fact that Poison Ivy constantly looks semi-orgasmic despite the fact that she absolutely hates men. When Angi Viper told me she was finishing up her Catwoman costume, I knew I needed to make a costume to wear with her!
Construction
I made a base corest and then covered it with ivy leaves. Similarly, there is a set of ivy-covered bikini bottoms that fit underneath the corest. There is also a pair of ivy-covered boots, but they are not visible in the pictures.
I can’t say that I was extremely happy with how this costume turned out. The ivy leaves start out look great, but they have no stretch and begin to come lose after continuous wear. Bending and otherwise moving around is also a big no-no. Thus, I eventually return to Poison Ivy – you can see my latex 2.0 version of her in the Costumes section.
